Swiss Ham Kabobs

Ingredients:

- 1 can (20 oz) pineapple chunks
- 1/2 cup orange marmalade
- 1 Tbsp prepared mustard
- 1/4 tsp ground cloves
- 1 lb fully cooked ham, cut into 1 inch cubes
- 1/2 lb Swiss cheese, cut into 1 inch cubes
- 1 medium green pepper, cut into 1 inch pieces, optional
Yield: 4 Servings
Directions:
- Drain pineapple, reserving 2 Tbsp juice; set pineapple aside. For the sauce, in a small bowl, mix marmalade, mustard, cloves, and reserved pineapple juice.
- On eight metal or soaked wooden skewers, alternately thread ham, cheese, pineapple, and if desired, green pepper.
- Moisten a paper towel with cooking oil; using long handled tongs, rub on grill rack to coat lightly. Grill kabobs, uncovered, over medium heat or broil 4 inches from heat 5-7 minutes or until heated, turning and basting frequently with sauce. Serve with remaining sauce.
