red velvet oreo brownies

Bake: 20 Minutes + Cooling

Ingredients

Yield: 12 Servings

    • 1 box red velvet cake mix
    • 1/2 cup butter, melted
    • 2 eggs
    • 1 pkg (3.3 oz) instant white chocolate pudding mix
    • 6 Tbsp vegetable oil
    • 1 pkg Oreos
    • 1 pkg (8 oz) cream cheese
    • 1/2 pkg (1/2 lb) CandiQuick chocolate bark (or about 1 ½ cups chocolate chips)
    • Mini chocolate chips (for garnish)

Directions:

    1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Combine cake mix, melted butter, eggs, pudding mix, and vegetable oil. Mix well (2-3 minutes) until combined.
    2. Spray a 9X13 baking dish with cooking spray. Spread the red velvet brownie layer into the pan. NOTE: batter will be VERY thick.
    3. Bake for 20-22 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
    4. Crush (finely) Oreos. Melt cream cheese in microwave for 15 seconds to soften. Stir together Oreos and cream cheese until blended smooth.
    5. Carefully spread Oreo mixture on top of baked brownies. Use hands to press into pan to avoid tearing brownies.
    6. Melt chocolate bark (or chocolate chips and pour over Oreo layer.
    7. Sprinkle with mini chocolate chips while still warm.
    8. Let cool completely before cutting into squares.
