Chocolate Chip-Cranberry Scones

Ingredients:

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 3 Tbsp brown sugar
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp grated orange peel
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 cup cold butter
- 1 cup (8 oz) plain yogurt
- 1 egg yolk
- 1/2 cup dried cranberries
- 1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees. In a large bowl, whisk the flour, brown sugar, baking powder, orange peel, salt, and baking soda. Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- In another bowl, whisk yogurt and egg yolk; stir into crumb mixture just until moistened. Stir in dried cranberries and chocolate chips.
- Turn onto a floured surface; knead gently 10 times. Pat dough into an 8 inch circle. Cut into 12 wedges. Place on a baking sheet coated with cooking spray. Bake 10-12 minutes or until golden brown. Serve warm.
